As VP of Marketing & Corporate Communications at Harsch Investment Properties, Susanne oversees a comprehensive branding and communication strategy for Harsch and the Jordan Schnitzer Family Foundation art lending program. Her responsibilities include the company’s overall communication and digital strategy, web development, social media, public and media relations, advertising and community outreach for the real estate company’s seven regions with 24 million sq. feet of diversified property and over 250 employees. She is also the digital strategist, media and community relations point person for the nationally acclaimed Jordan Schnitzer Family Foundation and handles public relations for the Harold & Arlene Schnitzer CARE Foundation.
Susanne has presented on social media and digital strategy at a number of conferences, including the Portland State University Digital Marketing Breakfast and ICSC Pacific Northwest Idea Exchange, and to private organizations such as Samuels Yoelin Kantor LLP. She also has volunteered consulting services to a variety of nonprofit organizations such as Project Lemonade, the Citizens Crime Commission, and CREW Portland. Susanne is a board member of CREW Portland, and a member of ICSC, NAIOP Oregon Chapter and SEMpdx. Prior to joining Harsch, Susanne’s broad experience includes building a successful digital content creation company with local and national clients. Combined with success in statewide and national political consulting and fundraising, this has given her a unique perspective in building successful organizations over the last 20 years.
