Harsch Investment Properties welcomes Steven Chaffee as Senior Property Manager

Portland, Or.  November 25, 2013 – Harsch Investment Properties (HIP), a privately-held real estate and investment company with headquarters in Portland, Oregon, announces the addition of Steven Chaffee as Senior Property Manager of Harsch’s retail south division, based in La Quinta, California.  Mr. Chaffee will oversee the following properties: 
 
111 Town Center in Palm Desert, which is currently being redeveloped with Whole Foods, Nordstrom Rack and HomeGoods anchoring this project with an opening date of next spring. 
Plaza La Quinta, Grocery-anchored center in La Quinta, with Vons, La Quinta Bakery, Rubio'sFive Guys, La Brassiere and  The Beer Hunter.
Von Karman Plaza in Irvine, California, anchored by WalMart, Staples, Jo-Ann Fabrics, Chase BankStarbucks and a recently added Habit Burger. Seafood City will open in the late spring 2014.
Stephanie Street Power Center, in Henderson, Nevada, anchored by Nordstrom Rack, Total Wine, Old Navy and a recently-added Golf Galaxy. Sprouts Farmers Market and Outback Steak House will open next spring.
 
“We are really excited about Steven joining our team,” said Harsch Investment Properties’ Senior Vice President of Retail Dave Moore. “He has many years of retail management experience working on several high-profile shopping centers on the west coast and he will fit in very well with our plans for growing the retail portfolio.”
 
Mr. Chaffee brings over 20 years’ experience in commercial real estate, most recently managing and overseeing operations of the Redmond Town Center, in Redmond, Washington. The mixed-use Center occupies more than 120 acres and houses over 120 tenants. He also managed and optimized commercial properties in Los Angeles and Riverside, California.  His professional affiliations include representation to the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Westside Neighborhood Council in Los Angeles, the West Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Redmond Chamber of Commerce.
