Harsch Investment Properties' 450 Sutter building

On April 12, 2014, Therese Poletti, author of Art Deco San Francisco, will speak about architect Timothy Pflueger, who designed Harsch's beautiful 450 Sutter building. Part of the Treasure Island Museum's free lecture series, this talk will focus on the art, architecture and influence of Mr. Pflueger at the 1939 Golden Gate International Exposition. Topics will include the famous "Pan American Unity Mural" Diego Rivera painted on Treasure Island during the Exposition, which features 450 Sutter. The lecture will also display very rare photos and archives not generally viewable to the public.
