Jordan Schnitzer Represents Harsch at Businesses United Against Discrimination Press Conference

Several Oregon businesses came together to oppose discrimination against same-sex couples at the Businesses United Against Discrimination media event this morning. Jordan D. Schnitzer, President of Harsch Investment Properties, joined business leaders Emily Powell of Powell's Books, Julia Brim-Edwards of Nike, Mark Edlen of Gerding Edlen, Vanessa Sturgeon of TMT Development, Dave Robertson of Portland General Electric, Jeff Miller of Travel Portland, Lisa Watson of Cupcake Jones, John Russell of Russell Development Company, Sandra McDonough of the Portland Business Alliance, and more to support Oregon United Against Discrimination, a group supporting the freedom to marry and non-discrimination against the gay community. The press conference was held to voice opposition against a proposed measure that would allow businesses to deny goods and services to gay and lesbian consumers.
