Harsch Investment Properties Promotes Steven Chaffee to Assistant Vice President, Retail South

Portland, Ore. - Harsch Investment Properties (HIP), a privately-held real estate, property development and investment company with headquarters in Portland, Oregon, announces the promotion of Steven Chaffee from Senior Property Manager to Assistant Vice President of Harsch’s retail south division, based in La Quinta, California. Mr. Chaffee manages close to one million square feet of mixed retail space and multi-tenant and commercial properties, including:

111 Town Center in Palm Desert—recently redeveloped with Whole Foods, Nordstrom Rack and HomeGoods anchoring this project.

Plaza La Quinta, Grocery anchored center in La Quinta, with Vons, La Quinta Bakery, Rubio’s, 5 Guys, La Brassiere and The Beer Hunter.

Von Karman Plaza in Irvine, California, anchored by WalMart, Staples, Jo-Ann Fabrics, Chase Bank, Starbucks and a recently added Habit Burger and Seafood City.

Stephanie Street Power Center, in Henderson, Nevada, anchored by Nordstrom Rack, Total Wine, Old Navy, Golf Galaxy, Sprouts Farmers Market and recently added Outback Steak House and Hash House a Go Go.

Mr. Chaffee brings over 20 years’ experience in commercial real estate, most recently managing and overseeing operations of the Redmond Town Center, in Redmond, Washington. The mixed-use Center occupies more than 120 acres and houses over 120 tenants. He also managed and optimized commercial properties in Los Angeles and Riverside, California. His professional affiliations include representation to the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Westside Neighborhood Council in Los Angeles, the West Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Redmond Chamber of Commerce.
