April 14, 2016
Harsch Investment Properties is thrilled to announce that our 450 Sutter Building in San Francisco has won the BOMA Pacific Southwest Regional TOBY (The Outstanding Building of the Year) Award for Medical Office Building! This is the second consecutive year that 450 Sutter has won the Pacific Southwest Regional TOBY, which covers the states of California, Nevada, Arizona & Hawaii. Now that 450 Sutter has won both the local BOMA San Francisco / BOMA Oakland East Bay TOBY Award and the regional BOMA Pacific Southwest TOBY Award, the building moves onto the third and final International round of the competition, where 450 Sutter will be judged against medical office buildings around the world.

The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) Awards are the most prestigious and comprehensive programs of their kind in the commercial real estate industry, recognizing quality in buildings and rewarding excellence in building management. During the competitions, all facets of a building's operations are thoroughly evaluated. Buildings are judged on everything from community involvement and site management to environmental and "green" policies and procedures. The competition consists of three levels. The competition begins at the BOMA local association level, winning entries advance from there to the regional level and, finally, regional winners advance to the international level. The international TOBY Awards will be presented at the 2016 Every Building Conference & Expo, during the TOBY Awards Banquet at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in Washington, DC, on Tuesday, June 28th.
