East Oregonian Reports Pop-Up Gallery Comes to Pendleton Round-Up
Sept. 13, 2016
The East Oregonian's Tim Trainor reports that a new pop-up destination will arrive in Downtown Pendleton, hosted at the former bank building purchased by Harsch Investment Properties earlier this year. The pop-up will operate from 2-8pm during the Pendleton Round-Up and Happy Canyon Week, September 14-17.

Pop-up features will include an exhibition of Native American art from the collection of Crow’s Shadow Institute of the Arts and tastings from Eastern Oregon wineries, Echo Ridge Cellars and Don Carlo Vineyard. Nationally known contemporary Native American artists such as James Lavadour and Wendy Red Star, and local artists including Whitney Minthorn, Susan Sheoships, and Jeremy Red Star Wolf, will be on display.

Crow's Shadow Executive Director Karl Davis said, "I think the idea is to open up the audience to the world-class print facility that's just outside of Pendleton."
