NAIOP Southern Nevada hosted the 20th annual Spotlight Awards on March 4th, 2017, recognizing the membership’s firms and individuals for achievements, built projects, or deals done during the prior year.
Occassionally, the NAIOP Southern Nevada Chapter Board identifies individuals who have served the chapter in an extraordinary way. This year, they honored Harsch SVP/Las Vegas Regional Manager John Ramous, RCG Economics Principal John Restrepo, JLL Vice President Mike Shohet, and Theodore Roosevelt Institute Executive Director Alan Schlottmann for their leadership in directing the NAIOP-commissioned study of the Bureau of Land Management's Draft Resource Management Plan.
Thanks to their efforts, an analysis of the plan found that the constraints outlined would restrict economic growth in the Las Vegas Valley, a crucial finding that was submitted to the Governor's Office to support the Governor’s Consistency Review of the Resource Management Plan.
Congratulations to John Ramous and all those recognized at this year's NAIOP Spotlight Awards!
